The LCK Art Gallery, in operation since October 2020, has served as an exhibition space for local professional and amateur artists, as well as students from the Faculty of Arts at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. The agreement signed by the Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and the Director of the Lublin Conference Centre aims to promote the LCK as a meeting place for the worlds of business and art. Following the global trend of prestigious conferences and diplomatic events being held in museums, the LCK also exhibits works of art, particularly in the field of workshop graphic art, painting, and sculpture by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.

The LCK Art Gallery, operating along our statutory activities, adds prestige to all events held at the LCK while enabling young artists to reach a broader audience, particularly those who may not be regular visitors to art galleries.

SELECTED EXHIBITIONS:

“Olena Kovalenko’s Petrykivka”, an exhibition by Olena Kovalenko, a Ukrainian artist in exile. The artist cultivates the tradition of Petrykivka, a decorative painting technique from Ukraine. The exhibition was held in 2023.

“Ona maluje, on fotografuje”, an exhibition of abstract paintings and photography. It was held in the foyer of S1 Hall on the ground floor of the LCK. The special guest was Machina, a Polish rock band, playing a mixture of classic rock, southern rock, blues, and hard rock. The exhibition was held twice, in 2023 and 2024.

“Piękne słowa utsukushii kotoba 美しい言葉”, an exhibition of paintings inspired by Japanese words. It was an attempt to convey the beauty of their sound and meaning by Polish female artists associated with the SZPILKA Foundation.
