From 17 to 19 February 2026, Lublin will host the 23rd edition of the CONNECT Route Development Forum – a prestigious aviation industry event that will bring together over 800 decision-makers from more than 65 countries. For the first time in the forum’s history, it will take place in Poland. Lublin’s presence on the CONNECT map is an opportunity to promote the region as an investment, tourism, and logistics partner for the aviation sector.
Industry representatives from around the world will discuss the development of air route networks, which is expected to significantly strengthen the image of the Lublin region as an important area on Europe’s aviation map.
“During the CONNECT Aviation 2026 congress, we will present our region to the participants. We will showcase not only its tourist gems but also its economic potential. We have an airport, good road infrastructure, and creative entrepreneurs from various industries who want to succeed in foreign markets. The aviation industry congress is a great moment to increase the region’s visibility,” emphasizes Jarosław Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship.
Undoubtedly, choosing Lublin as the host of this year’s congress will contribute to increasing the tourism potential of the voivodeship. CONNECT will help strengthen the position of the regional airport through cooperation with new airlines and airports. Proposals for new routes will improve transport accessibility for both local residents and neighbouring regions.
The event will also bring tangible benefits to the business sector – it may boost interest in the region among foreign investors, strengthening Lublin’s position on Europe’s transport map. Family-owned SMEs, distinguished by sustainable development and innovation, will gain an opportunity to present their offerings to potential international partners.
An additional advantage will be the extension of the tourist season. Organising the event in February – a period of lower tourist traffic – will translate into higher occupancy for Lublin’s hotels, restaurants, transport companies, and cultural institutions.
