Architectural Accessibility

The Lubelskie Conference Center in Lublin is located at ul. Grottgera 2, 20-029 Lublin. There are two entrances to the LCK building: the main entrance from ul. Grottgera and the side entrance from Al. Racławickie. The main entrance has large, double-winged glass doors, and the reception is located on the left. The building’s communication spaces are free of horizontal and vertical barriers (horizontal communication – corridors on one level, vertical communication – elevators). The LCK provides information on the layout of individual conference rooms visually – informational boards in the atrium, stickers in elevators, and information signs on each floor of the building, as well as information available at the reception desk. The registration desk is located 10 meters directly ahead from the main entrance, and to the left. Three centrally located elevators are available directly in front of the main entrance after crossing the atrium. The elevators are equipped with buttons labeled in Braille and illuminated when the floor button is pressed. The elevators also have an audio system that announces the floor number. In the conference room foyers, there are staircases on both sides of the building, with the beginning and end of the staircase marked by illuminated signs. The LCK secretariat is located on the 5th floor – left side after exiting the elevator and walking 15 meters (the first door on the right). There are toilets for people with disabilities on each floor, located to the right after exiting the elevator. All passageways in the building are threshold-free. A parking space for people with disabilities is located on level -1 of the underground parking lot, with access from the right side of the main building entrance at ul. Grottgera 2. It is recommended that persons with disabilities who wish to use the parking space notify LCK at least one day before their planned visit by calling +48 81 718 09 00. There is also an electric vehicle charging station on level -1 of the underground parking lot. It is recommended that persons with disabilities wishing to use the charging station contact LCK at +48 81 718 09 00 for assistance. The Lubelskie Conference Center has installed a Totupoint audio navigation system for the blind and visually impaired on the ground and first floors. The system requires a mobile app to operate. Support for People with Disabilities

Persons interested in interpreter assistance should notify LCK at least 3 working days in advance, specifying the preferred communication method, except in emergency situations. The building and all its rooms are accessible to service dogs and guide dogs. If a client cannot reach the LCK office, a staff member can come down to the ground floor to assist the client in a convenient manner. The Lubelskie Conference Center does not employ a permanent sign language interpreter.
